Field Service Technician

Since 1978 when they opened their flagship store in Natick, MA they have continued to supply their customers with top-quality products, excellent customer service and trusted spa service solutions.The Role: The Service Technician will report to the Service Manager and will primarily be responsible for the service and repair high-end home appliances. This role is ideal for an individua that enjoys being outside and working autonomously to solve problems.This position is primarily on the road, servicing Massachusetts and Rhode Island based customers. This role requires the use of a company vehicle.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and isolate hot tub/sauna problems and repair (including mechanical, electrical and plumbing)Process invoices and log job details using the computer system in a timely mannerCommunicate with customers in a professional manner, discuss any added service that may need to be performed.Maintain the inventory on your service vehicle ensuring that you have the parts necessary for upcoming service visitsAssist in training new employees as requestedBecome a hot tub/sauna water care expert with a full understanding of the supplies and chemicals necessary to maintain proper water chemistryAttend and contribute to staff meetingsAttend manufacturer service training and obtain training certificatesQualifications:High school degree or equivalent is requiredValid driver’s license and clean driving record are requiredComputer proficiency requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word Excel and OutlookTenacity to find and fix problemsSome mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, auto maintenance & repair, or other technical experience preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work outside in varying weather conditionsBenefits/ Perks:Flexible scheduleMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceVacation, Sick and Holiday timeCompany provided laptop and vehicleCell phone allowanceBonus, commission and overtime opportunitiesCompensation:The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $19 and $22.
