Full Charge Bookkeeper / Administrative Operations Manager – this full time 40-50 hours per week benefitted position provides integral administrative support and oversight for the office operations of a multi-location busy towing,trucking and repair company and reports directly to the business owner. Qualified candidates must possess an up-to-date solid skill set with QuickBooks Software and MS Office Suite. Proficiencies with State and Federal systems such as MyConnect, Re-Employ, EFTPS, ID.me, etc. are strongly preferred. Upon hire, candidates would be required to learn and become proficient with specialized industry specific billing software utilized by the company. Proficiency with general office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, copy/scan/fax machines, etc. is also required. This position demands a high level of independent work ethic with the ability to effectively multi-task and impart efficiencies on a consistent basis. Qualified candidates must be able to seamlessly and proactively handle changing priorities and unforeseen administrative needs when required. This position requires proficient experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billings, vendor relations, generation of Quickbooks system reports, bank reconciliations, oversight of various insurance policies, processing of State and Federal data uploads, preparation and submission of monthly payroll and sales tax payments and reports, detailed general record keeping and filing maintenance, handling of various legal documents and contracts, maintenance of fleet data records and oversight of business licensing and employee certification records. Candidates must have experience with handling all aspects of collections and demonstrate a consistent proactive approach to maintaining acceptable levels of accounts receivable aging. Professional demeanor is expected and required when interacting with vendors, customers and the general public on behalf of the company. This position is available to start immediately. Salary shall be commensurate with experience. Background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings shall be required.
