LUBE TECHNICIAN
Summary/Objective
Family owned and operated business for 70 years is currently seeking a Lube Technician to perform routine service and minor repairs on heavy construction equipment at customer worksite or at the shop.
Essential Functions

1. Perform routine maintenance
2. Complete minor service repairs such as changing batteries and replacing drive belts
3. Perform basic inspections of equipment and report findings such as lights that are out, fluid leaks, and worn or damaged hoses.
4. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, including following job-specific requirements on customers’ worksites
5. Ensure that the service manager is kept informed
6. Build and maintain an adequate level of tools
7. Provide labor hours daily to the Service Manager
8. Read and interpret technical service information, manuals, bulletins, blue prints, and schematics
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
As this is a full-time hourly position, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and with the possibility of overtime. Lube Technicians must possess the flexibility to work different hours and on weekends with little notice based on customers’ needs.
Required Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Class C (non-commercial) driver’s license with a clean driving record
3. Class A CDL or a Class B with air brake
