Highway Equipment & Supply Co., a full-service heavy construction equipment dealership, is seeking an Equipment Coordinator for its Harrisburg, PA, branch.
The Equipment Coordinator provides efficient operation of one heavy construction equipment yard that may include delivery of and operating light- or heavy-duty equipment, loading and unloading product, preparing equipment for rental and delivery and upon rental return, and maintaining yard inventory.
Job Description
- Perform inbound inspections on rental equipment and complete all related documentation.
- Complete damage inspections
- Prepare equipment for delivery. Load equipment on customer's trucks or trailers
- Delivery equipment to site
- Maintain and oversee organization of yard. Notify management of any concerns.
- Operate equipment including truck with trailer and also rollback.
- Perform all other duties assigned
Required Education and Experience
The following requirements are job-related and consistent with business necessity.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class C driver’s license with no points or restrictions
- One-to-two years’ experience using computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel, in a business setting
- One-to-two years’ basic heavy equipment operations experience
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Upon offer of employment, selected candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and physical examination at Highway’s expense to determine if the candidate is physically fit to perform the duties without injuring themselves or others.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
As this is a full-time hourly position, the Equipment Coordinator is expected to work Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and with the possibility of overtime.
