Hightec HVAC is seeking a Service Account Manager who brings both technical confidence and a relentless drive to grow our commercial HVAC service agreement business.
Position Overview
The Service Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding Hightec HVAC’s commercial service portfolio. This position requires maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while aggressively prospecting for new commercial maintenance contract customers. A true hunter mentality is essential for success in this high-impact role.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development (Hunter Focus)
· Proactively identify and pursue new commercial customers in Southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
· Generate new service agreement opportunities weekly through cold outreach, networking, onsite visits, and relationship building.
· Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Account Management
· Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of service contract clients.
· Conduct routine site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and evaluate work quality.
· Maintain daily communication with clients to strengthen relationships and ensure exceptional service.
Sales & Proposal Generation
· Prepare and deliver repair quotes, maintenance proposals, and equipment replacement proposals.
· Follow up aggressively on open proposals and drive decisions to close.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate scoping and pricing.
Field Quality Assurance
· Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Hightec HVAC standards.
· Identify additional service needs or system issues during site visits.
What Success Looks Like
· Consistent growth of new service agreement customers.
· Measurable increase in repair and replacement revenue.
· High contract renewal rates and expanded service scopes.
· Strong pipeline management and documented prospecting activity.
· Professional communication and rapid proposal turnaround times.
Required Skills & Qualities
· Proven hunter-style salesperson with a track record of generating new business.
· Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and service operations.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to uncover problems, propose solutions, and close deals.
· Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.
· Experience in HVAC service sales or mechanical contracting preferred.
