Responsibilities & Main Activities
- Oversee daily jobsite operations from project start to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, and field personnel
- Maintain project quality, productivity, and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction schedules
- Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, inspectors, and crews
- Conduct site inspections and address issues proactively
- Track progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and timelines
- Maintain organized jobsite documentation and reporting
- Enforce company safety policies and jobsite expectations
- Mentor and support field employees and younger tradespeople
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous superintendent, foreman, or leadership experience in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and crews efficiently
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and scheduling work activities
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Computer and communication skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
