Responsibilities & Main Activities
- Perform general carpentry duties on commercial and construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Assist with framing, finishing, concrete work, and other construction tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow company safety procedures and project timelines
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic construction math
- Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and tasks
