Company : Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW : Provides non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs exercise and pharmacologic Stress Tests and ECG's. (25%)
- Applies Holter Monitor Records to both in and out patients, instructing the patients on proper care of the unit and maintaining patient diaries. Scans Holter Monitor results with a computerized scanning unit, and prepares data for physician interpretation. (25%)
- Provides diagnostic 12 ECG testing to in and out patient population. (25%)
- Maintains organized and complete documentation of clinical data for all procedures in accordance with established guidelines, and ensures the availability of complete electronic files for physician review. (25%)
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum
- Completion of a Medical Assistant or dysrhythmia course
- CPR - American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance CertificatePreferred
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program
