Role Description

We're hiring for a true career-track seat. This is not a back-office planning role — it's a client-facing development seat designed for an emerging advisor who wants to grow into a lead advisor over time.


From day one, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior advisors on sophisticated client relationships, participate in meetings and planning, implement investment and financial planning strategies, and follow a structured ramp toward building your own client base.


Early Responsibilities:


Client Support & Advisory Development

  • Participate in client meetings alongside senior advisors
  • Help prepare financial plans and recommendations
  • Support ongoing client service and planning updates
  • Gradually take on more direct client responsibility


Planning & Technical Work

  • Build and update financial plans
  • Run scenario analyses and projections
  • Support tax-aware and after-tax planning strategies
  • Coordinate implementation across investments (public and private) and planning


Advisor Team Integration

  • Support one or more senior advisors as a servicing or support advisor
  • Participate in client reviews and planning coordination
  • Develop into hybrid lead/servicing roles over time
  • Potential to ultimately build or join a dedicated advisor team


Qualifications

  •  3–8 years in wealth management or financial planning
  • Experience supporting or leading client relationships
  • Some portable assets or ability to transition relationships preferred (~$5–20MM ideally)
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Technically capable and detail-oriented
  • Ambitious but team-oriented
  • Focused on long-term career development, not short-term moves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Series 65 required, or ability to obtain quickly
  • CFP® certification or progress toward certification is a plus


Location

Los Angeles (in-office preferred). Some flexibility may exist for exceptional candidates.
