What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Sterile Tech position at Highlands Medical Center?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Directs proper care and storage of sterile supplies and rental equipment used for patient care.
EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. CRT familiarity preferred. Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection and sterilization techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Certification in Central Sterile preferred.
