Job Title: Weld Repair Person
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Must prepare surfaces for rework through the utilization of handheld power tools.
- Must be able to repair all welds by hand through the utilization of TIG and/or MIG
welding processes.
- Maintain welder tips in proper working order
- Run quality parts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate automaniac welders when need.
- Responsible for following work instructions and procedures applicable to job.
5 Proper production reporting and following process sheets.
- Proper process for completing move tickets.
- Inspection of Parts.
- Follow directions from Work Center Manager/ Supervisor for work to perform.
- All other duties as assigned.
Training:
- On the job training.
- TS 16949 Overview.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED helpful but not required.
Skills:
Must have the dexterity and skills to perform the work.
Experience:
Prior experiences necessary in the welding field. Must have TIG and MIG welding experience.
Reports To:
Work Center Manager, Supervisors.
