Licensed Practical Nurse – Primary Care
A position geared for resourceful individuals who are skilled in assisting and providing support to assigned physicians and nurse practitioners, conducting medical screenings, administering medications, as needed, coordinating referrals to primary care providers and/or health department to consumers while they are attending various programs at HCS, obtaining, reviewing, and reporting laboratory results in a timely manner and entering accurate consumer information into the Electronic Health Record System.
Position Specifics
Location: Main Campus - Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $18.50 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Current/Active License as an LPN with the privilege to practice in the State of Virginia. Experience in Psychiatric setting with adults and/or children and adolescents preferred
