Children’s Intensive Therapist
This position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families by working to support the child and the entire family. From initial assessment and diagnosis to service recommendations and provision of group, individual, and family therapy within a community-based setting. This position gives you the opportunity for meaningful, hands-on work alongside community partners for greater continuity of care. A vital part of this position is being trained in a strength-based model built on a foundation of acceptance and respect with a focus on assessment and intervention to address risk and protective factors within and outside of the family that impact the adolescent and his or her development.
Position Specifics
Location: Children’s Campus - Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $55,000 Licensed Eligible/$60,000 Licensed - Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Master’s degree eligible to seek Licensure for Supervision in Virginia or LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred.
Experience: Two years’ experience working with children/adolescents with Serious Emotional Disturbance.
