The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient operations at The View. This includes cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen tools, equipment, and dishware, as well as managing waste disposal and assisting the kitchen team as needed.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean, sanitize, and dry all dishes, cookware, glassware, and utensils to meet health and safety standards, storing them in designated areas.
- Organization: Assist culinary team in the organization of kitchen equipment, ensuring items are readily available for chefs and staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of dishwashing machines and equipment. Notify the Restaurant Manager of any issues or required maintenance.
- Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure dishware and utensils are replenished as needed during service. Maintain efficiency by managing cleaning priorities during peak times.
- General Support: Assist in cleaning kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces as required. Help with stocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen remains organized.
