Highland Ophthalmology Associates is a full service eyecare practice located in New Windsor, NY. Founded in 1997, we currently have 3 fellowship trained ophthalmologists, 2 optometrists, a full time optician, and an optical dispensary on premises. We have the most advanced ophthalmic equipment available and are committed to providing both the latest technology and highest quality in patient care. We are a high volume surgical practice, affiliated with multiple ASCs in our area.

As a front desk receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
- greeting patients upon check-in to confirm name, D.O.B., and provider scheduled to see
- verifying and collecting current insurance, ensuring the insurance is scanned into the case, making a copy for the paper chart, and initialing superbills and scanned copies to confirm verified
- creating cases by insurance and/or provider, or year
- creating new patient and emergency charts
- answering phones to schedule appointments or take messages
- filing and pulling paper charts
- checking patients out and collecting payments for balances, copays, or supplies
- updating logs to track charts
- other duties as assigned
- must write legibly
