Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team! This newly created position is being added to support the additional patient population. Candidates for this role will primarily work nights which are eligible for our highest premium add ons.
Shifts will include weekday and weekend coverage
Weekday shifts 5:00pm - 5:30 am
Weekend shifts 5:00pm - 3:30 am
Some Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
An exciting new opportunity is available to join the GYN Oncology inpatient team. This role offers the chance to work closely with GYN Oncology Medical Faculty and Advanced Practice Providers in the care of patients undergoing treatment for gynecological cancers.
$98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. - Provide direct inpatient care, including daily patient management, admissions, and discharges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care team rounds.
- Manage acute inpatient needs such as chemotherapy reactions and consultations.
- Support the education of learners (students, new employees) through clinical teaching, knowledge sharing, and skill development.

Job Requirements
- Education – Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed NP or PA in New York State.
- Experience –Prior APP experience preferred, with strong interest in oncology and acute inpatient care
- License/Certification Required – Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of New York.
Salary : $98,000 - $130,083
