What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT TECH PRN/DAYS OR NIGHTS position at Highland Hills Medical Center?
Highland Hills Medical Center is looking for the right person to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CAT and X-ray procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. This person will function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities. This is a PRN position and shifts can be either days or nights, weekdays and/or weekends. If you qualify, please apply here.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Associate degree is required.
- One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Prefer specific experience and training in CAT.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current MS State Medical Radiation License and\or ARRT certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Proficiency with most major CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software
Language Skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Additional languages preferred.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
