Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons while delivering beverage and food experiences. As a Bartender/Server you will be responsible for serving food and drinks, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable time at our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Take customer orders for both food and drink, accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are followed.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for events or banquets as needed.

Skills

• Experience in food service, demonstrating strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in tending bar, mixing cocktails, and serving other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to enhance sales through effective communication and service.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere.
