We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender/Serverto join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and beverage service, strong communication skills, and experience in various food and beverage operations.
Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in serving, bartending, and customer engagement will be highly valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Mix drinks and serve alcohol responsibly as per licensing laws and company policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including specialty drinks, wine pairings, and food options
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols diligently to ensure guest safety
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in licensed establishments such as nightclubs or bars is advantageous
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards, catering, brewing, or retail math adds value to the role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions are essential
- Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required
- Proven ability to manage time effectively while multitasking during busy hours
