About the Role:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cabinetry products to residential homes, commercial properties, and active job sites across the region. This role is essential to our customer satisfaction and represents Highland Cabinetry on every stop.
Core Responsibilities
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport cabinetry products to designated locations on schedule
• Follow assigned delivery routes and adapt to real-time route changes as directed by dispatch
• Load and unload cabinetry materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Inspect all products before and after transport to verify condition and report any damage
• Obtain proof of delivery signatures and document any delivery exceptions
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and job site supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Support warehouse operations during non-delivery hours as needed
Required Qualifications
• Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. unassisted and handle heavy, bulky items with a partner
• At least 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting and handling product
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on route
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience delivering building materials, furniture, or large-format goods
• Familiarity with the Denver Metro and surrounding areas
• Basic knowledge of cabinetry or construction products a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
