Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead / Budtender to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a frontline ambassador, providing exceptional customer service while managing daily store operations. Duties
- Lead daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer experiences
- Provide expert guidance on product selection, consumption methods, and responsible use to customers
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory control procedures
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Supervise team members by conducting employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations
- Maintain store appearance through merchandising, stocking, daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety / state regulatory standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for diverse clientele
- Support marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store sales.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail sales or store management roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and employee supervision
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Previous experience in a regulated industry such as cannabis or pharmacy is advantageous but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Must be willing to have fingerprints taken as per state regulations.
- Must be 21
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable transpiration to and from work
- Weekend and Holiday availability
- Management / Supervisor experience.
- Ability to lift objects upwards of 50lbs
