Job Summary:
Higher Ground Youth & Family Services is seeking an engaging, passionate, and professional HTPP Presenter to deliver our Human Trafficking Prevention curriculum at junior high and high schools, as well as other youth-serving organizations across Orange County. The curriculum covers vital topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, online safety, grooming, and human trafficking awareness and prevention.
The ideal candidate is a confident public speaker with a commitment to youth empowerment, education, and safety. This position requires comfort with sensitive subject matter and the ability to present clearly and compassionately to diverse groups of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Present Higher Ground’s 3-day Human Trafficking Prevention curriculum to classrooms of 6 to 50 students.

Co-facilitate classroom presentations with a team of trained speakers.

Facilitate and engage students in small group activities and discussions.

Refer students to appropriate internal or external resources when needed.

Attend and participate in mandatory training sessions and ongoing professional development.

Stay informed on current trends, case studies, and statistics related to human trafficking and youth safety.

Maintain professionalism and represent Higher Ground’s values in school and community settings.

Be flexible and responsive to scheduling changes or last-minute school needs.

Maintain accurate attendance logs and communicate presentation feedback to the Program Coordinator.
Work Schedule:
Flexible schedule based on school bookings; may include morning and midday hours on weekdays during the school year.
Compensation:
Hourly rate dependent on experience; mileage reimbursement available for travel.
Qualifications:Required Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
