Responsibilities
- Handle, dry, weigh, and load plastic raw materials following documented procedures to ensure continuous production
- Use barcode scanners and computer systems to locate, track, and move materials and packaging accurately
- Plan and coordinate material movement according to production schedules and demands
- Set up and monitor auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, loaders, and dryers
- Conduct material quality tests, including moisture content checks, to maintain product standards
- Maintain safety standards and housekeeping in production and staging areas, including cleaning of equipment and debris removal
- Properly use personal protective equipment and forklifts to ensure a safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in materials handling
- High school diploma or equivalent
