Hiring: Optical Test Engineer III
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Employment Type: W2 / 1099 Only
We are looking for an experienced Optical Test Engineer to support cutting-edge Display Systems Engineering projects focused on next-generation AR/VR and display technologies.
✅ Required Skills:
• 3 years of experience in optical testing, measurement, and analysis
• Hands-on experience with spectroradiometers, photometers, colorimeters, autocollimators
• Programming skills in Python, C#, or C
• Test automation, data collection, image processing, and statistical analysis (JMP)
• Experience debugging optical prototypes, test sequences, and electronics
• Strong documentation and communication skills
🎯 Preferred Skills:
• Color science and display calibration
• AR/VR display and optics experience
• Zemax, LightTools
• Ansys, SolidWorks, NX
🎓 Education:
Master's degree in Optics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
