- Follow detailed recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, mixers, and food processors.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a catering cook or in a similar food industry role, with strong food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking methods.
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume food production.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
