Duties
- Prepare and assemble po’ boy sandwiches according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, and toasters
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Manage customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions smoothly
- Ensure timely food preparation and delivery to maintain quick service pace during busy hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or food industry roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Previous experience in café, restaurant, or grocery store environments is advantageous
