Location: Point Loma Reports To: School Director/Mental Health Supervisor FLSA Classification: Exempt Full Time/Part Time Status: Full Time, 200 days Regular/Temporary: Regular Salary: Unrepresented, Hourly, Step 3, Range: $90,744.72 - $132, 919.16 depending on degree and experience Application Opening: 06/10/2026 Application Closing: 07/31/2026 The School-based Mental Health Therapist/Clinician provides and supervises individual, group, and family counseling to assist students in overcoming behavioral/emotional challenges and guide students in the development of skills and strategies to achieve educational goals.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Must possess a valid California license as a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Must meet BBS requirements to supervise MSW, MFT, PCC associates/trainees - Possession of CA Pupil Services Credential preferred - Minimum 5 years experience working in a California School District or educational setting desired - Bilingual desired - Ability to travel to multiple locations in San Diego County
