A Visit Monitor ensures safe, positive, and structured interactions between parents and their children during scheduled visitation sessions. This role requires strong observational skills, impartiality, and the ability to maintain a supportive environment while enforcing program guidelines. A background in social work, education, or child development is strongly preferred.

Job Details
Position: Visit Monitor
Employment Type: Part-Time: under 29 hours/week
Shifts: Most of our visitations are on weekends, so Saturday & Sunday availability is required.
Pay: $17.00-$19.00/hr.
Licensing: SC SLED Security Card - we pay for your training and certification
Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor visits between parents and children in accordance with company policies and court orders.
Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the child during all interactions.
Observe and document visit activities, including behaviors, conversations, and any incidents.
Intervene when necessary to redirect inappropriate behavior or enforce visitation rules.
Provide clear, factual reports to supervisors and, when required, to legal authorities.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff to support a positive visitation experience.
Uphold all safety and security protocols within the visitation environment.

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be available to work nights and weekends
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
Clean driving record with no accidents in the last 3 years
Active cell phone with call, text, and data
Solid judgment and critical thinking abilities
