Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Key Holder to join our cannabis dispensary team. The Key Holder serves as a leader on duty, assisting with daily store operations, supporting staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities
- Open and close the dispensary in accordance with company policies and security procedures
- Serve as the manager on duty when leadership is not present
- Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service
- Support and coach team members to ensure operational excellence and compliance
- Assist with employee training and onboarding
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations
- Monitor sales floor activity and maintain a positive, welcoming environment
- Perform cash handling duties, register reconciliations, and daily deposit procedures
- Assist with inventory counts, product receiving, stock organization, and inventory audits
- Ensure the dispensary remains clean, organized, and properly merchandised
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance requirements
- Communicate operational concerns, inventory needs, and customer feedback to management
Qualifications
- Previous retail leadership, supervisory, or key holder experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and inventory management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to meet all applicable employment requirements
- Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
