Overview:

A Green Alternative San Diego is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team. The Budtender will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting them in selecting the appropriate products, and providing education on the various strains, consumption methods, and effects of cannabis. Our Budtenders have superior product knowledge and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome clients inside the storefront

- Using product knowledge, advise / educate customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.

- Accurately record and maintain client information and transactions in the Point-of-Sale system

- Restock inventory and maintain product displays

- Keep the dispensary clean and organized

- Follow all dispensary policies and procedures

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with all clients and team members

- Inform the manager of any customer complaints or operational issues.

- Participate in ongoing education and training related to cannabis products and industry updates

- Show up to work on time in appropriate attire and compliant with appearance and dress code policies.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 21 years of age

- Possess excellent customer service skills

- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask

- Have experience working in a retail or hospitality environment

- Be able to stand for extended periods of time

- Possess a high level of professionalism and ethics
