Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Perform cooking tasks such as boiling, frying, grilling, and baking as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
- Support banquet and catering services by preparing food items for events.
- Handle food safely and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables and serving food during meal periods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is a plus.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is essential.
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are required.
