Title: Choir & Asst. Band Director

Reports to: High School Principal
The basic role of the choir director & assistant band director is to provide leadership to the overall music program, as well as to manage and assist with the details necessary for a successful day to day program.
The dual-role position is responsible for supporting the instrumental music program while leading or co-managing the vocal music program. This role requires a versatile and collaborative educator who can effectively work across both disciplines.
Key responsibilities include assisting with band instruction, rehearsals, and performances, as well as directing and developing the choir program. The individual will plan and coordinate concerts, competitions, and other musical events, ensuring students are well-prepared and programs run smoothly.
The position also involves maintaining compliance with state and district standards, fostering student growth in musical skills and performance, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
