About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
The Assistant Musical Director will work with the Musical Staff on selecting, rehearsing and performing the STMA musical.  This includes developing a schedule and working with the director to ensure the musical is a success. 

Start date: 9/1/2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30-5:30, and some evening/weekend performances.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience directing and/or performing in musicals.

Stipend Starting Salary Range: $2776-$3050, according to the Group - Musical of Schedule C of the Certified Master Contract 2025-2027.

Benefits: No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
