Qualifications:
- Current Arkansas Teaching License.
- Current Arkansas Coaching Endorsement.
- 1st Aid/CPR Certification.
- CDL Preferred.
Assistant Coaching Responsibilities:
- Quarterback Development:
- Coach QBs individually and in groups on throwing mechanics, reads, footwork, and decision-making.
- Develop and implement QB-specific drills and training programs.
- Teach offensive concepts and game strategy to QBs.
- Analyze game film for QB performance and strategy.
- Team Assistance:
- Assist the Head Coach in designing and running practices and offensive game plans.
- Instruct players on general football techniques, rules, and safety.
- Help organize equipment, manage team logistics, and assist with player eligibility/insurance.
- Supervise players during practices, games, and travel.
- Mentorship & Culture:
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on and off the field.
- Administration & Communication:
- Handle administrative duties like record-keeping, and statistics.
- Stay current on coaching techniques, rules, and league policies.
- Necessary Skills:
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of football rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Physical ability to perform coaching duties.
Classroom Teaching Responsibilities:

- Student Support:
- Provide individualized help, support social-emotional development, and adapt lessons for special needs students.
- Communication:
- Maintain regular contact with parents/guardians and collaborate with colleagues and school staff.
- Professionalism:
- Participate in professional development, stay current with best practices, and fulfill school duties.
