The Car Wash Shift Leader (SL) is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations. The SL is a key partner in meeting performance and profit goals. In partnership with the Car Wash Manager, the SL is responsible for customer satisfaction, day-to-day operations of the car wash locations including service management, preventative maintenance, and project coordination/development to ensure that the goal of car wash uniformity, efficiency and profitability are achieved.
- Maintain and drive high standards regarding customer service, car wash safety and efficiency.
- Perform the day-to-day tasks and assist other workers achieve their required duties and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide superior customer service to all customers: greeting, assisting, suggest selling and thanking each customer.
- Ensure adherence to all procedures and standards, overseeing the successful daily operations and safety requirements of the program.
- Motivate, encourage, and assist customer service representatives.
- Lead by example to ensure all daily tasks are completed and follow-up as necessary.
- Perform/manage preventative maintenance for car wash sites; must conduct quality, safety, and performance assessment and solutions.
- Ensure a preventative maintenance schedule and scope of work for internal service and external service providers is consistently performed.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the car wash industry, is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed by the business, as well as work the site alone, as required.
- Retail environment with occasional exposure to unpleasant working conditions including dust, extreme temperatures, and potential contact with petroleum and/or cleaning products.
- Spends most of the shift standing with frequent bending and lifting.
- In inclement weather conditions, employees may be expected to assist with efforts to maintain full store operations.
