Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as janitor cart mop, and broom.
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain optimal sanitation standards.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to promote a secure environment for all staff and visitors.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning with strong custodial skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment and other custodial tools.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Physical strength and stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills for minor upkeep tasks.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols, including safe lifting practices and proper use of cleaning chemicals.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
