Department Description
The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) plays a critical role in facilitating the attainment of campus goals and initiatives. OUR office provides some of the academic and administrative infrastructure necessary for continued services to current students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and alumni. As the OUR office Assistant, you will gain experience in organizational activities, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Job Description
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Office of the University Registrar.
Job Location/ Hours Required
The candidate will perform most/all job duties in Roberts Hall, room 101. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting our staff in day-to-day organizational activities
- Organizing and scanning files into our data system
- Alphabetizing assorted documents
- Registering students for classes
- Providing medium to heavy desk coverage, including interpersonal and phone customer service
- Commencement Duties
- Other duties assigned
Required Qualifications:
Applicants should be organized, diligent workers preferably with office work experience, especially customer service. The successful candidate will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
