Office Manager Requirements Must present as courteous and professional

screening Certification in the HPHAO approved de-escalation program
Office Manager Duties and responsibilities Provide oversight within the
front office to ensure that procedures and policies are being followed,
including collection of co pays, scheduling appointments, completion of
DPH paperwork, data entry, attaining insurance eligibility and PA?s
Direct oversight of the day to day front office operations and support
staff Recruits, hires, and supervises assigned clerical/clinical
personnel overseeing/promoting the highest level of customer service
provided to patients and clients Develops efficient processes for
collection of demographic and insurance information for patients. Leads
the team in educating patients about benefits they may be eligible for
and assisting patients with those application procedures Provides front
desk functions of greeting clients, check in and registration functions
along with the behavioral health support staff team, as needed Works
collaboratively with outside vendors as well as internal staff to order
office supplies for the site. Provides allocation for invoices of
expenses incurred by the site(s) Evaluates and assures that performance
evaluations of staff are completed in a timely manner Provide the
highest level of service to internal customers at assigned site(s),
including behavioral health providers Possess an understanding of
billing codes regarding patient diagnoses and services rendered Possess
an understanding of 3rd party billing practices and procedures Track
payments and monitor accounts for delinquent charges, coordinate payment
arrangement options with patients who are unable to pay Attends required
meetings and participates in committees as requested Assist in tracking
referrals through preadmission documentation Provide oversight of open
access process and maintain collection of the data Assist in
distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail Maintains and orders
services for all business-related machinery, including copier and fax
Develop an understanding of the relationship between substance use and
mental health issues and/or self-help programs Other duties as assigned
By The Program/clinical Director Office Manager Qualifications Must Have
High School Diploma, GED and office experience in a medical or
behavioral health setting 1 Year experience in being a lead staff or
Supervising Preferred 2-year Secretarial Experience In An Office Setting
preferred AA or BA preferred Bilingual preferred
