Position Overview
High Point is seeking a compassionate, family-centered Behavioral Health Clinician (Master’s Level) to join our Youth Point team in Brockton, MA. This role focuses on supporting children, adolescents, and their families through comprehensive clinical assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination. Referrals come primarily through the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), including Children Requiring Assistance (CRA) cases.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments, screenings, and service planning for youth and families referred to the Family Resource Center.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to children, adolescents, and caregivers in a supportive, developmentally appropriate manner.
- Administer and interpret the Massachusetts Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, including crisis intervention and discharge planning.
- Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and case notes.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate closely with DCF, the courts, EOHHS, schools, and community partners to coordinate services and support positive outcomes for families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision.
- Support families in connection with aftercare services, outpatient treatment, and community-based resources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Clinical Director.
- Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field required; Licensed or license-eligible (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT) within six months of hire Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in mental health or family therapy
- Experience with CANS Assessments required
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, family systems, and behavioral health
