Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Journeyman Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician role based in Brick, NJ. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing or replacing HVAC components as needed. The technician will also work with plumbing and electrical systems related to HVAC. Ensuring compliance with EPA regulations and maintaining safety standards are essential duties of the role. Excellent customer service and teamwork are a must.
Qualifications
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system issues
- Experience in plumbing and managing HVAC-related plumbing systems
- Knowledge of performing routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Familiarity with EPA regulations and certifications; EPA refrigerant certification is highly preferred
- Understanding of electrical systems and their application in HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a professional demeanor
- High school diploma or GED; additional training or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or related fields is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
