This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Victorville, CA. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate participants' functional and cognitive abilities, develop individualized care plans, and implement therapy programs to support independence and quality of life. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educating participants and their families, conducting assessments, and monitoring progress. The therapist will focus on promoting safety, mobility, and daily living skills for participants.
- Proficient in assessment, development of care plans, and implementation of therapy programs
- Strong knowledge of functional rehabilitation, safety assessments, and adaptive equipment training
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with participants and families
- Experience in geriatric care or working with elderly populations is an advantage
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment
- CPR certification and a valid driver’s license preferred
