Description:The Overnight Facility Attendant is a hybrid role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and security of the High Desert PACE center during non-business hours. This role ensures that the facility is "patient-ready" every morning by performing deep-cleaning EVS tasks, light preventative maintenance, and conducting regular security rounds of the interior and exterior premises.High Desert PACE is looking to hire both a Full-Time and Part-Time Overnight Facility Attendant.Requirements:Environmental Services (EVS) & Floor CareFloor Maintenance: Perform deep cleaning of all floor surfaces, including vacuuming/shampooing carpets and sweeping, mopping, and buffing vinyl and tile surfaces.Sanitization: Clean and disinfect all restrooms, clinical areas, and common spaces to healthcare-grade standards.Kitchen/Dining Maintenance: Deep clean kitchen surfaces, appliances, and dining areas.Detailing: Wash interior and exterior windows, dust high-reach areas, and remove trash/biohazard waste according to protocol.Light MaintenancePreventative Checks: Identify and report any leaks, burnt-out lighting, or HVAC irregularities.Minor Repairs: Address simple maintenance tasks such as unclogging drains, changing light bulbs, or tightening fixtures as needed.Project Work: Complete assigned maintenance projects that are disruptive during high-traffic business hours.Facility Watch & SafetyScheduled Safety Rounds: Conduct regular walkthroughs of the building’s interior and exterior to ensure all entry points are locked and the perimeter is secure.Hazard Identification: Monitor for potential safety risks, such as tripped breakers, water leaks, or fire hazards, and report them immediately.System Monitoring: Observe facility systems (fire panels, refrigeration/medical supply alarms) to ensure continuous operation.Incident Reporting: Maintain a nightly log of safety checks and immediately notify the Facilities Supervisor of any breaches or emergencies.QualificationsExperience: Minimum 1–2 years in EVS, janitorial, or facility maintenance (preferably in a healthcare or PACE environment).Skills: Proficiency with floor buffers, carpet extractors, and basic hand tools.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work independently during overnight hours.Reliability: Strong track record of attendance and the ability to work without direct supervision.Shift AvailabilityFull-Time: Monday through Friday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM.Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM.
