A fast-growing data and technology company is adding a Senior Technical Accountant to its team. This is not a “keep the seat warm” accounting role. The company is scaling quickly, operates in a highly analytical environment, and needs someone who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, ownership, and problem-solving ability.

You’ll work directly with accounting leadership on everything from revenue recognition and close activities to process improvements, audit support, and building scalable accounting infrastructure for a modern subscription-based business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own critical pieces of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process

• Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules that actually tell a story — not just tie out numbers

• Work heavily within ASC 606 revenue recognition and subscription accounting

• Support accounting for leases, commissions, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other technical accounting areas

• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and automation as the company scales

• Partner with Finance and operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

• Support audits and compliance activities without the usual fire drills

• Help create a strong, scalable, audit-ready accounting environment

What They’re Looking For

• CPA (or actively pursuing)

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606

• Experience in SaaS, subscription, recurring revenue, or technology environments strongly preferred

• Public accounting foundation is a big plus

• Someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-moving environment

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally without ego
