Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf and lush greenery.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, mulching beds, and weed control.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and installing landscape features.
- Use equipment such as excavators and other machinery to assist with hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing repairs to ensure proper watering schedules.
- Assist with tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture practices.
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care procedures, snow plowing techniques, and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
