Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. This role involves assisting the dentist during treatments, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including general dentistry and endodontics.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed for patient assessments.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with clinic protocols.
• Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with the dental receptionist for optimal patient flow.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems, particularly Epic or similar software.
• Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in managing medical records accurately.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
