HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Industrial industry!
Salary: $28-$37/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 1-9 PM
Location: Justice, IL
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining an industrial facility to support efficient operations and equipment reliability.
- Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
- Assist with performing preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Resolve safety concerns in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Perform both indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintenance-related tasks.
- Monitor inventory supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
- Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
- Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
Preferred:
- Boiler knowledge.
- HVAC experience.
- Experience and ability to perform welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
