HiFyve is hiring a CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer in the Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!Salary: $30 - $38/hrShift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to FridayLocation: Kansas City, MOJob Duties and Responsibilities:Develop programs for new parts on multi-axis Swiss lathesCreate setup plans for Swiss turning centersInterpret technical drawings and ensure machines are set correctlyAdjust cutting paths and optimize machining processesTroubleshoot machining and tooling issuesPerform quality checks to ensure parts meet specificationsMaintain tooling, perform basic machine maintenance, and support process improvementsTrain operators on machine operation and program requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and follow established safety and quality standardsEducation Requirements:High school diploma or GED required.Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High school diploma or GED required; vocational school or apprenticeship preferred5 years of experience programming Swiss lathesExperience with manual, semi-automated, or automated machining equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read blueprints and follow routersKnowledge of metals and machining characteristicsStrong math, accuracy, and attention to detailSelf-motivated with reliable attendanceWillingness to work overtime or weekends when requiredIf you are interested, please apply!
