We’re seeking mechanically strong technicians with hands-on experience in compressed air equipment, diesel-driven compressors, or related industrial systems. This role performs field-based installations, diagnostics, and repairs while delivering exceptional customer service and equipment reliability.Key Responsibilities:• Perform first-time start-ups and verify equipment compatibility • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on air compressors and dryer systems • Maintain accurate service documentation including reports, work orders, and timekeeping • Ensure work meets manufacturer specs, company safety policies, and industry standards • Maintain company tools, service vehicles, shop equipment, and facilities in good condition • Communicate effectively with service staff, customers, suppliers, and Caterpillar representatives • Provide high-quality customer service during field and shop-based service callsOccasional Responsibilities:• Assist with maintenance and repair of generators and related power systems (CAT, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, etc.) • Support fellow technicians and EPG/Rental division operationsQualifications:• High school diploma or GED required • Minimum 3 years of mechanical or electrical service experience • Valid Michigan driver’s license required • Strong troubleshooting capability and diagnostic skills • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams • Knowledge of safety standards, industry practices, and proper tool usagePreferred:• 5 years of related experience • Experience with Atlas Copco or Sullair systems • CDL or Chauffeur’s License • Diesel engine, electrical system, or industrial air system backgroundInterested?
