Job Description:
- Pollinate and harvest corn
- Planting, thinning, weeding
- Plant tagging, seeding, cutting
- Sorting, shelling, weighing, counting
- Pest management
- Prepare supplies
- Clean-up
- Organization or samples
- Health monitoring or respirator medical clearance may be required
- May need to use power tools, mower, weed whacker, blower, power washing, potting machine
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds and walk uneven field surfaces for 8 hours
- Able to work around plants and plant pollen
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures
