Responsibilities
Maintain demonstration of values and mission statement
Establish communication with patients and coworkers to improve quality of service and patient satisfaction
Transport patients to the facility to designated areas in an efficient and timely manner
Follow routing and scheduling instructions given by the Dispatch Manager
Accompany patients inside the facility upon arrival and deliver communication to the Receptionist and Dispatch Manager regarding the drop off
Offer comfort and support to patients and their families
Respect and protect patient confidence and confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private
Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of patients and their possessions
Possess excellent driving capabilities
Possess the ability to de-escalate situations
Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment
Routinely comply with the standards set forth by HIPAA
Work as a highly dependable, independent member of the treatment team
Ability to maintain flexibility in work schedule
Must be a committed team player willing to learn new skill sets
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience
1-year prior experience working with Substance Abuse populations strongly preferred
Crisis Intervention Training strongly preferred
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
Clean driving record for at least 3 years
Must be committed to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
